Mt. Pulag Akiki-Ambangeg Trail (February 19-21, 2021)

ELIGIBILITY
The hike is open to anyone who is physically fit who has sufficient knowledge about basic mountaineering. Participants are expected to be regular hikers who will not have difficulty in climbing the akiki trail, which has a difficulty that is equivalent to Difficulty 7/9 in the Challenge the Summit scale.

Inclusive of the following:
– Round trip private VAN (Baguio-Ranger Station-Baguio)
– Entrance fee + camping fee + green/LGU fee + cultural fee
– Licensed tour guide
– Associate Team Leader
– Costs for organizing the trip (i.e. communications, logistics)

Not included/Things to bring
– tent and mattress
– food for the whole climb
– personal porter

GENERAL ITINERARY
February 19, 2021 (Friday)
0700H meet up at jollibee caltex, front of victory liner, Baguio city
0800H Travel to DENR, Briefing
1200H Lunch along the way
1400H ETA Jumpoff
1500H Start trek
1800H ETA, Edet River, camp

February 20, 2021 (Saturday)
0600H Start Trek
1400H Summit
1500H Descent
1700H Camp 2 Ambangeg

February 21, 2021 (Sunday)
0700H Start descent
1100H End of Trek, travel back to baguio
1900H ETA Baguio City, end of expedition
